My fascination with metal began when I was young. I was drawn to the texture of silver — its weight in the hand, the cold surface, and the quiet presence of the material itself. At the same time, I felt a growing desire to create. To shape something with my own hands. To give form to the mass and density I admired in metal. That desire became the beginning of Deryck Heart. What started as curiosity gradually turned into creation — piece by piece, year after year. More than two decades later, I am still creating.
